As an annex to its Decree No. 8/2019 (VI.12.) on local public culture, the body of representatives of the municipality of Pilisszentiván shall determine the rules of use of the school auditorium as a community theatre as follows.

Article 73 (1) of Act CXL of 1997 on Museums, Public Libraries and Public Culture states that "The support of public cultural activities is a public objective." The services and programmes of the community centre of the municipality are open to anyone who accepts the conditions of use set out in the rules of use.

  1. Data on the Community level
    1. The community theatre is maintained by the municipality of Pilisszentiván

    1. The community space includes: the assembly hall (school lobby), the library lobby, accessible toilets and male toilets, corridor, staircase to the gallery, gallery, canteen. The school kitchen is not part of the community space.

  1. Regulation of the use of the school hall (school assembly hall), as well as the reception and cleaning fees:
  1. The use of the ceremonial hall (school auditorium) must be requested in writing from the municipality of Pilisszentiván, at least 30 working days before the planned use, from the municipal contact person.
  2. The dates for the use of the ceremonial hall (school auditorium) will be recorded in a calendar of events based on written requests received. The content of the calendar of events will be discussed with the school administration on an ongoing basis.
  3. External partners/tenants should inform the municipal contact person of the date and time of the pre- and post-event preparations for the event, so that the municipal staff can coordinate with the school administration on the organisation of the reception and cleaning.
  4. In the case of rentals on public holidays and public holidays, the hirer shall consult directly with the person in charge of the porter or cleaner about the time of the preparation and finishing work, as well as the porter and cleaning fees.
  5. The associations/institutions in Pilisszentivan will inform the school administration directly of the time of the preparation and follow-up work required for the event, so that the school administration can organise the reception and cleaning.
  6. The school kitchen is not for hire.
  7. If you rent the school hall (school assembly hall), you must use the reception service
  • Postage is due on the following dates:
      • weekdays: between 20 and 7
      • weekends and public holidays: 0-24 hours
      • outside school hours, payment is due every day of the week between 0-24 hours
  1. The method of accounting for porterage and cleaning costs: by the 25th of each month, the school informs the municipality's economic manager in writing of the number of porterage and cleaning hours and the number of staff generated during the association/institutional and external renting.
  2. The municipality pays the persons providing concierge and cleaning services on a commission basis for the reception and cleaning fees generated by the association/institution and external leasing.
  3. The municipality will invoice the user association/institution and the external tenant for the cleaning and porterage fees incurred during the association/institution and external tenancy and paid in the form of a contract of engagement.
  4. The association/institution and the external tenant shall pay the cleaning and porter's fees for their own use to the Municipality's cashier against an invoice or by bank transfer against an invoice.
  5. In the case of several simultaneous applicants and all events of non-Pilisszentivan interest, the Municipal Liaison Officer decides on the use of the hall, taking into account the Mayor's opinion.
  6. Priority will be given to school use during school hours and to previously announced events.
  7.  The school has free use of the school hall at any time during school hours by appointment.
  8. The ceremonial hall (school assembly hall) is not available for party political events.
  9. The ceremonial hall (school assembly hall) is available on a rental basis.
  10. The organiser of an event (conference, cultural and community programme, family gatherings, information presentations, dance, music, etc.) organised in the school hall (school hall) is responsible for its activities in compliance with the legislation in force, in particular with regard to the "23/2011 (III.8.) Government Decree on making the operation of music and dance events safer".
  11. The mayor is authorised to conclude contracts for the rental of the assembly hall (school auditorium).
  12. The organiser is obliged to comply with the relevant fire and accident prevention regulations when using the ceremonial hall (school assembly hall).
  13. The user of the event hall is obliged to immediately remove all waste generated during the event, as well as all equipment and facilities brought by him/her for the purpose of the event, after the event has ended.
  14. In the case of a music and dance event, the external tenant must pay a deposit of 100.000,-, which must be paid in cash or by bank transfer to the Mayor's Office cashier's office no later than 15 days before the event.
    1. The organiser is responsible for any damage caused. If no damage is proven, the deposit will be refunded within 5 days.
    2. If damage has been caused, the damage/damage will be recorded by the porter and acknowledged by the organiser's signature. The actual value of the damage will be determined by the municipality and will be deducted or added to the deposit.
  1. Rules for the use of the courtyard:

Vehicles with agreed registration plates arriving for the event will be admitted to the courtyard at the agreed time by the doorman for temporary loading and parking.

  • No permanent parking is allowed inside the courtyard.
  • There is no designated smoking area in the courtyard, but the area in front of the building entrance can be used for this purpose, provided that a 5 m safety distance is maintained.
  • The 2 exits to the courtyard of the ceremonial hall must not be blocked, and free access must be provided in accordance with fire regulations to ensure escape routes.
  1. Who may use the ceremonial hall once a year free of charge, as follows:
  • For free users see annex.
  • The municipality will waive the payment of the rent for the space, and there will be a concierge service and cleaning costs.
  • The Municipality makes the hall available to the organisation free of charge for the organisation of events of outstanding cultural and social value, only on the basis of a request from the Mayor (in this case the organisation does not incur any costs for the porter or cleaning).
  • If the associations and organisations listed in the Annex organise a programme at the request of the municipality, in addition to the organisation of the programme, the use of one free hall per year is still guaranteed.

  1. The use of the House of Generations must be requested in writing from the municipality of Pilisszentiván, at least 30 working days before the planned use, from the customer service contact person.
  2. The representative body of the municipality of Pilisszentiván provides the opportunity to rent some rooms of the House of Generations as a permanent rental property. The request for a permanent lease must be submitted in writing to the cultural organiser.
  3. In the case of a permanent lease, the cultural organiser shall present the request for a permanent lease to the members of the body in the form of a proposal, after consulting the mayor. In the case of a permanent lease, the body of representatives shall decide on the letting and the amount of the rent.
  1. The dates of events for the tenants of the House of Generations are recorded in the calendar of events kept by the customer service representative.
  1. The users of the House of Generations should consult with the customer service representative about the time of the pre- and post-event preparations necessary for the event, so that the customer service representative can coordinate the opening, closing and cleaning arrangements with the parties concerned.
  1. General information on letting
  • No payment is due during event preparations/works during the following time intervals: before the rental period and 30-30 minutes after the rental period free of charge.
  • The user of the premises is obliged to remove immediately after the event all tools and equipment brought by him/her for the purpose of the event, and to ensure the removal of waste generated during the event immediately after the event.
  • At the end of the occupancy period, the occupant of the premises is obliged to restore the premises used by him/her to the condition they were in at the beginning of the occupancy period (repacking of tables and chairs, tidying up, basic cleaning, etc.)
  • The operator of the House of Generations does not provide porter and technician human resources during the rental period.
  • The provider of the House of Generations does not provide technical equipment during the rental period.
  • The cleaning of the premises of the House of Generations is financed by the municipality, with the exception of all rooms that are rented out on a permanent basis. The cleaning of premises let on a permanent lease is the responsibility of the tenant.
  • The outhouses of the House of Generations are cleaned by a municipal employee and financed by the municipality.
  1. In all cases, the lessees of the community theatre carry out their activities in 100 % at their own risk.
  2. The organiser of an event organised in the House of Generations (conference, cultural and community programme, family gatherings, information presentations, dance, music events, etc.) shall act at his/her own risk and in compliance with the legislation in force, in particular with regard to the "23/2011 (III.8.) Government Decree on making the operation of music and dance events safer".
  3. The tea-kitchen in the building does not have the necessary conditions and permits to serve public and children's meals. In case of need (e.g. camps, weddings, birthdays), the tenant is obliged to organise the catering outside the premises or to use a contractor (catering).
  4. The civil organisations and institutions of Pilisszentiván can use the ground floor of the House of Generations for their events free of charge. The appointment is also binding for the NGOs and institutions.
  5. NGOs that regularly use the upstairs main hall have their own key and alarm code. Keys and codes are handed over at the customer service desk.
  6. In the event of organising several events at the same time, the customer service representative shall consult the cultural organiser on the use of the House of Generations, and the Mayor shall decide in justified cases.
  7. The House of Generations is not available for party political events.
  8. The rooms of the House of Generations are available on a rental basis.
  9. The Mayor is authorised to conclude contracts for the rental of the House of Generations.
  10. When using the House of Generations, the organiser must comply with the relevant fire and accident prevention regulations.
  11. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms of the House of Generations.
  12. In the case of a music and dance event, the external tenant must pay a deposit of 100.000,-, which must be paid in cash at the Mayor's Office cash desk no later than 15 days before the event.
    1. The organiser is responsible for any damage caused. If no damage is proven, the deposit will be refunded within 5 days.
    2. If damage has been caused, the member of the municipal management team (cleaner, caretaker, or the municipal/official employee who is the first to arrive at the scene after the event) will record the damage/damage in a report and immediately inform the head of the economic management. The actual value of the damage will be determined by the municipality and will be deducted or added to the security deposit.
  1. Rules for using the courtyard:

The courtyard of the House of Generations is not available for rent. No waiting in the courtyard.

There is no designated area for smoking in the courtyard - the area in front of the building entrance can be used for this purpose, provided a 5 m safety distance is maintained.

The exit of the House of Generations must not be blocked and free access must be provided in accordance with fire regulations in order to ensure escape routes.

  1. Rental fees
  • Rental fees are set out in the Annex to the Rules.
  • In the case of a wedding, if one of the couple is a resident of Pilisszentivan, a discount of 50 % is granted on the rent.
  • The House of Generations can be rented until midnight for events and activities. For the period beyond this period, it can be rented with a special permission from the Mayor. The application must be made in writing to the Mayor, via the Customer Service Officer.

  • The official marriage ceremony venue in Pilisszentiván is the Mayor's Office marriage ceremony room: the first floor conference room.
  • Please note that all marriages that take place outside the office are considered to be marriages if they do not take place in the first floor conference room.
  • Married couples may use the ground floor banqueting hall of the Mayor's Office as the venue for the wedding ceremony, subject to payment of a rental fee.
